Here I am going to list the children that I have been able to find that are possibly Valentine and Dicey's Children...However.....We are not sure when they got married exactly, so it is possible that Valentine had children with a first wife, and that Dicey had children by a first husband.......

Here is what I have found on Shepherd....Formation of Breathitt County, Kentucky taken from Wikipedia...On February 6, 1839, a portion of Clay (along with portions of Estill and Perry Counties) was partitioned off to create Breathitt County. It was named for Governor John Breathitt.[4]

3) Obedience Collins b. 1804 Virginia d. 1839 Magoffin County, Kentucky (according to some others)
Obedience married a man by the name of William Cole....According to their first child's birth Obedience would have been 8 years old if she was born in 1804.... which this is highly unlikely....I would presume that she would have to have been at least 13 years old....so more than likely she is one of the 2 females listed in William Cole's census record below....born 1791-1800.
